Kangana Ranaut Speaks Out Against Brands Cancelling Her for Criticizing Khalistani Supporters in Punjab
Kangana Ranaut has recounted how she was rejected by several brands after she spoke out against Khalistani supporters in Punjab three years ago. Known for her outspoken socio-political opinions, Kangana has never shied away from expressing her unfiltered views on society and politics, even if they generate controversy. In a previous post, she had also criticized the situation in Amritsar's Ajnala police station and challenged the head of the radical outfit Waris Punjab De to engage in an 'intellectual debate'. Kangana has also sought assurance that she won't be subjected to any physical harm, recalling an incident in 2021 when there was an attempt to vandalize her car in Punjab's Kiratpur Sahib.
Apart from her bold stand on socio-political issues, Kangana is also a prolific actor with several projects in the pipeline. She will be seen playing an Air Force Pilot in the upcoming film Tejas, and is producing and directing Emergency, in which she plays Indira Gandhi. She has also begun shooting for P Vasu's Chandramukhi 2 and has several other movies in the works, including Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda, Sita-The Incarnation, and the Noti Binodini biopic.
