As many as 21,000 calls were attempted to avail the doorstep delivery of services on the first day of its launch, even as 369 appointments could be fixed due to heavy traffic at designated call centres, the Delhi government said.

The government said that on the first day, the scheme evoked "tremendous response", adding that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is himself monitoring the developments very closely and looking at the data every hour.

AAP founder member Kumar Vishwas axed as Rajasthan in-charge, takes a dig at Kejriwal

NEW DELHI: According to Times of India , The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today removed embattled leader Kumar Vishwas as its Rajasthan unit in charge, and replaced him with Deepak Bajpai.
The development is being seen as part of a strategy to prepare the AAP for the upcoming state polls.
AAP leader Ashutosh said Bajpai will remain in Rajasthan to strengthen the party’s organisation, strategize for the imminent Assembly elections, create a list of candidates etc.

Who is Sushil Gupta, AAP Rajya Sabha Nominee?

Sushil Gupta is a surprise element in Arvind Kejriwal's choice for Rajya Sabha MP. A man who has strong Congress link and who few days back was agitating against Kejriwal is now going to be an AAP MP in the Upper House of the Parliament. Sushil is a big name in Punjabi Bagh area and has business interests in Health and Education. He has connections with almost all industrialists and corporate houses of NCR. He was the man behind political funding of Congress.Until now, Sushil Gupta was not even technically a member of AAP. In this context, it is baffling how did he make the cut and why did Kejriwal reject claims of Kumar Vishwas, Ashutosh Gupta, Atishi Marlena and Dilip Pandey, among others

Mayank Gandhi has tweeted a smal intro about Sushil Gupta :-

"Sushil Gupta has made big contributions in the education and health sectors in Delhi and Haryana. He provides free education to 15,000 children. Narayan Das Gupta is the former president of the ICAI(Institute of Chartered Accountant of India)," AAP leader Manish Sisodia said soon after the announcement. The meeting was held in prescence of 56 MLA's at Arvid Kejriwal's residence.

Kapil Mishra 'expose' LIVE: Arvind Kejriwal took 2 crore rupees from Satyendra Jain, says AAP's sacked minister

I could have been sacked before too. I was being praised initially by every AAP leader. There were no talks of me being sacked. Now the timing of the axe raises questions.

I trusted Kejriwal, whom I thought to be clean. There were several funding related issues in Punjab. I though Kejriwal would act on it. I had this trust in him since two years. But two days back, I saw Satyendra Jain giving 2 crore rupees to Arvind Kejriwal at his residence. How did Satyendra Jain get those cash? I asked Kejriwal to offer a apology. But Kejriwal is silent.

Was Kejriwal lying to the public of Delhi since 2015? Within one month of becming minister, I made a report agaisnt Sheila Dixit. When I wanted to meet the anti-corruption bureau, everyone knows what had happened. After writing the letter, I met Kejriwal. I am exposing after I was dismissed by the chief minister.

AAP pacify's Kumar Vishwas, suspends MLA Amanatullah Khan

Updated on 4/05/3017 at 9:28 AM

AAP managed to pacify a vocal and defiant Kumar Vishwas on Wednesday by suspending Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan, whose public attack on the former had precipitated the crisis, and appointing Vishwas in-charge of Rajasthan. The MLA had earlier been forced to resign from AAP's political affairs committee to placate Vishwas.

Kumar Vishwas was accused this week of plotting a coup to overthrow Arvind Kejriwal as AAP chief. New Delhi: Highlights. Kumar Vishwas allegedly in search of bigger role in AAP; Claims other party leaders are maligning him;

WIDENING THE rift within the party, senior AAP leader Kumar Vishwas on Tuesday alleged that there was a “conspiracy” against him and said he would take a decision “in a day”, triggering speculation about his possible exit from the party. The AAP leadership maintained that they had reached out to Vishwas and urged him to “raise his concerns regarding the party’s electoral losses within the party forum” but he “continued to make public statements” instead.

EVM row: Arvind Kejriwal questions EC, calls it a ‘puppet’

Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal hit out at Election Commission over EVM tampering row.

Ahead of the MCD election in the Capital, AAP chief said, "Chunaav aayog Dhritrashtra ban gaya hai jo apne bete Duryodhan ko saam daam dand bhed karke satta mein pohuchana chahta hai" (Election Commission has become Dhritarashtra who wants to ensure his son Duryodhana gets power at any cost).

Kejriwal’s comments came after the Election Commission asked the Aam Aadmi Party to introspect over its loss in the Assembly elections rather than pointing fingers at EVMs and EC. “It is unfair on your part to attribute an unsatisfactory poll performance of your party to the alleged tampering of EVMS. To verify the vote cast in the recently concluded Assembly polls, the party was free to file an election petition in the High Court,” the EC told Aam Aadmi Party on Monday. “No credible material had been brought to the knowledge of authorities during and at the time of EVM ‘mock drills’ in Punjab elections to show alleged tampering in EVMs used in the state,” the poll panel said.
