After getting MoS status, MP seer Computer Baba announce Narmada conservation campaign

INDORE: Barely three-days after getting the minister-of-state status, Computer Baba and Yogendra Mahant, who were included in a five member committee formed to conserve river Narmada, on Friday performed rituals on its banks at Khalghat and announced the start of their mass awareness campaign. For at least six months, Hindu sadhu Namdeo Das Tyagi – known by the moniker Computer Baba – had been running a fierce campaign against the Bharatiya Janata Party government in the state. Alleging large-scale scams and corruption in the conservation of river Narmada, Computer Baba had mobilised hundreds of other sadhus across the country to participate in a six-week long Narmada Ghotala Yatra from April 1 to May 15, aimed at exposing the alleged problems of the BJP state government.

However in a interview to aajtak news channel he has not answered clearly on why he stopped the campaign. The Mos status to four saints has brought attention to the  Narmada Ghotala Yatra too.

According to political advisors it is one of the biggest political moves by BJP in Madhya Pradesh.
