Sanya Malhotra was born on 25 February 1992 (26 years) in Delhi, India. Sanya, famous for her role of Babita Phogat in ‘Dangal‘, is gradually spreading her wings in the glamour world. Her journey in the Bollywood began as a model featuring in many commercials for the top brands. During the auditions for the popular role of ‘Babita Kumari’ in Dangal, she beat around 10,000 girls to get the lead position. Impressing everyone with her versatile acting skills, she has bagged a number of movies after her path-breaking performance in the movie Dangal. She is a part of Ritesh Batra’s ‘Photograph‘ alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Pataakha‘ with Radhika Madan and ‘Badhai Ho‘ opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. In addition to these, Sanya is confirmed for a dance film which is going to be directed by the renowned choreographer, Bosco Martis.

The Piscean star was born in Delhi, India to Sunil Malhotra, an engineer, and Renu Malhotra, a homemaker. She belongs to a middle-class Punjabi Khatri family.
Malhotra, along with Zaira Wasim, Fatima Sana Sheikh, and Suhani Bhatnagar used to stay together at Aamir Khan‘s old apartment in Mumbai for 6 months during the filming of ‘Dangal.’
