After Tanaaji: The Unsung Hero, Ajay Devgn to star in Syed Abdul Rahim biopic?



After delivering blockbuster films including Singham, Shivaay, Action Jackson, Raid, Son of Sardaar and more, Ajay Devgn has carved a niche for himself as one of the best actors in the film industry. The actor has impressed the audience a number of times with his acting prowess and phenominal on-screen performance. Ajay was last seen in Indra Kumar's Total Dhamaal, that garnered appriciation from all quarters. While the actor is currently shooting for Tanaaji: The Unsung Hero, reports claim that Ajay will begin shooting for a biopic after the Om Raut directorial. 

According to Mumbai Mirror, Ajay will be seen essaying the role of Syed Abdul Rahim, who was India’s football coach between 1950 and 1963. Helmed by Amit Sharma, the film will reportedly go on floors in the first week of June. Mumbai Mirror quoted the filmmaker as saying, "We are looking to shoot in cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Delhi, are also actively exploring an overseas destination. Most of it will be shot in actual locations." Amit might also take the entire crew to a real football stadium.
