In a rare incident, the Covid ward at Alappuzha Medical College turned out to be venue for marriage. Sarath Mon and Abhirami both natives of Kainakari in Alappuzha tied the knot inside the Covid ward after the groom turned positive a few days back.
Sarath, who was working abroad tested positive during the preparations for his marriage, later his mother also turned positive. Both Srarth and his mother Jijimol where shifted to the Covid ward at Alappuzha Medical College.
The family and relatives finally agreed to hold the marriage as decided on April 25.
