Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has take additional portfolio of state Health Minister. The Chief Minister has taken this step after the Minister E Rajendra was accused of taking possession of the land. On the request of the CM, the Governor has also agreed, after which the post of Medical, Health and Family Welfare Ministry of E. Rajendra has now been transferred to the Chief Minister.
In the case, Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao has issued an order to investigate the allegations of land possession in Medak district. He has instructed the Chief Secretary in the matter that the District Collector should be investigated on land acquisition complaints on the outskirts of Achampet in Masaipet mandal of Medak district and submit a detailed report to the Chief Minister's Office.
