Nupur Sharma, BJP: Profile, Age, Husband and Family

Nupur Sharma was a senior Delhi BJP leader and one of the national spokespersons of the party. Known for her fiery speeches and ability to hold her ground in TV debates, she gained popularity for single-handedly breaking the myth of Arvind Kejriwal's incorruptibility in Delhi. Although Kejriwal defeated her in the last Assembly Election by a margin that was lower than expected, she was suspended from the primary membership of the party due to her unsavory comments against The Prophet Mohammed in a live TV debate. It is unlikely that she will be reinstated in the party anytime soon, but the focus should now be on her safety, and she should be provided with immediate security cover.

Nupur Sharma was born and raised in New Delhi, and after completing her schooling from Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, she enrolled at Delhi University (Hindu College, B.A. Economics). During her time in college, she developed a keen interest in student politics and became an active member of the BJP.

In 2008, Nupur won the post of the President of DUSU, which was previously a bastion of NSUI. After her stint with DUSU was over, she attended the prestigious London School of Economics, where she remained in touch with the ideology of the party. Nupur has fought many battles and is now preparing for an all-out war against Kejriwal.
