"Russia and China Block Joint Communique at G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting, Says US Secretary of State

During a press conference on Thursday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken revealed that at the G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting hosted by India, a joint communique was not supported by Russia and China. The meeting ended without an agreement, despite India's attempts to reconcile the differences, due to the opposition of these two countries to references to the Russian invasion of war. Blinken stated that the two countries explicitly indicated that they would not sign the text, making it impossible to reach a consensus.
