The latest Bhopal collector is now Ashish Singh, after the government's decision to appoint Kaushalendra Singh was changed two days after his initial appointment. Sources suggest that the decision was influenced by pressure from the RSS, who reportedly want to accelerate the Statue of Oneness project in Omkareshwar. Following the change, Kaushalendra Singh was instead appointed as the Managing Director of MP Tourism. This development has been making headlines in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh.
