The Gramin Dak Seva scam refers to allegations of certificate forgery during the recruitment process for 1,382 posts of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) in Odisha. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has launched an extensive investigation and carried out raids at over 67 locations across various districts. The scam came to light when the Odisha Postal Circle discovered that some candidates had submitted forged or fake 10th pass certificates during the verification process.
