Navya Haridas is a 39-year-old mechanical engineer and politician from Kerala, India. She holds a B-Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from KMCT Engineering College, Calicut University.
She has served as a two-time councilor in the Kozhikode Corporation and is the Mahila Morcha State General Secretary in the BJP. On her Facebook page, she describes herself as the BJP Parliamentary Party Leader and BJMM State General Secretary. According to the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), she has no criminal cases against her.
Recently, she was announced as the BJP candidate for the Wayanad Lok Sabha bypoll, where she will be challenging Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra
Navya has been actively involved in politics and has highlighted the needs of the Wayanad constituency, emphasizing that the Congress family has not met the requirements of the people there.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced on Tuesday that the by-election will take place on November 13, with results to be revealed on November 23. Meanwhile, BJP state general secretary C. Krishnakumar will contest in the Palakkad Assembly constituency, where the party is particularly hopeful of securing a victory in the upcoming by-polls.
