#JioJuice no need of a charger. Too good to believe. Not sure #AprilFoolsDay

A day after announcing the much anticipated rollover of Jio Prime Benefits for one more year until March 2019, Reliance Jio made another tempting offer that is hard to resist for any mobile phone user. In a little over one minute long video, Jio promotes JioJuice, a new offering for the Jio users. The jio customers now don't need to carry heavy chargers or power banks. The Jio Juice allows the mobile phone users to recharge their phones by inserting the 4G SIM card.

The users found the newly announced technological innovation quite incredible. Thanks to the announcement made a day before the April Fool's Day, some users on Twitter even took the liberty of comparing the mega announcement by Mukesh Ambani-led Jio Infocomm to an April Fool's prank.

A handful, however, called it a great innovation.

The Jio Juice allows wireless charging of mobile phones. This can be done by inserting the 4G data pack that enables transfer of energy through electro-magnetic induction.

CHINA has bolstered its fighter jet arsenal along its southwestern borders to prepare for a “possible military confrontation” that could lead to the outbreak of World War 3 with India, it has been revealed.

Heavy deployment of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) personnel close to last year’s site of confrontation and hectic build-up by the Chinese in North Doklam, including concrete posts, helipads, new trenches, and a concrete observation tower less than 10 metres from the Indian Army’s most forward trench. Fighting posts have been created on almost every hillock on the North Doklam plateau, according to his reports, confirming sporadic media reports of Chinese troops digging in rather than leaving the area.

New Delhi has also made military moves with the country reportedly adding its Su-30 MKI fighters to its border.

Geng Shuang was recently asked about military moves from India and emphasised that both countries wish to maintain “peace and tranquility” on the border.

He continued: "We…

Confirming the reports of entering the electrically run bikes, Royal Enfield’s president, Rudratej Singh said that the famous Indian retro motorcycle giant — Royal Enfield — is now developing an electric motorcycle for the Indian market.

Uzbekistan offers India space for defence unit

TASHKENT, UZBEKISTAN: Central Asia's biggest military power Uzbekistan has offered India a unique proposal, giving its territory to set up a defence manufacturing unit which could allow Delhi to make strategic inroads in the resource-rich region. The proposal is still in its nascent stages even as India plans to export defence equipment to Uzbekistan, officials familiar with the issue indicated to ET.

If the Indian government decides to set up a defence manufacturing unit in Uzbekistan, it will be the first such venture abroad and will enable Delhi to gain a strategic foothold in Eurasia amid massive Chinese inroads. India, currently expanding as well as exploring defence exports to friendly partners in South Asia, SE Asia, West Asia and the Indian Ocean Region, has enhanced defence partnership with Tashkent in areas of exchange, training and military medicine. The two sides are keen to give further impetus to exchange and training of military personnel, officials here said.

Investigations on Thursday pointed to the national Capital emerging at the centre of an exam paper leak that forced the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to order two retests for 2.2 million Class X and Class XII nationwide and in select overseas locations, sparking outrage among students and parents and turning into a political slugfest between the Congress and the government.

Delhi Police said it had questioned at least 34 people, including an economics teacher at a private school in central Delhi and a coaching centre owner, one day after the CBSE said all 1.7 million students of Class X who took the mathematics exam on March 28 and 500,000 who sat for the economics exam on March 26, will have to take them again, admitting that the question papers had leaked in advance.

MOSCOW — Russia will close the American consulate in St. Petersburg and kick out 60 U.S. diplomats in response to Monday’s coordinated expulsion of Russian diplomats from the United States and a number of European countries, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Thursday.

The move continues an ongoing escalation of tit-for-tat between Moscow and the West that began in early March with the alleged poisoning of a former Russian double agent on British soil with a Soviet-designed nerve agent.

Lavrov said that U.S. Ambassador Jon Huntsman has been asked to appear at the Foreign Ministry — “where my deputy minister Sergei Ryabkov will lay out for him the content of these retaliatory measures against the United States,” he said.

ICICI board backs Chanda Kochhar amidst questions over Videocon

The Indian Express’ lead story today, headlined “Videocon gets Rs 3250-cr loan from ICICI Bank, bank CEO’s husband gets sweet deal from Dhoot”, details a stunning case of conflict of interest that involves country’s top corporate and bank. Essentially, the story pertains to what might have been a kickback from Videocon to ICICI Chief Operating Officer Chanda Kochar’s husband in lieu of a Rs 3,250-crore loan. This loan was declared as a non-performing asset in 2017.

However, The board of ICICI Bank threw its weight behind chief executive Chanda Kochhar, squelching speculation about nepotism and corruption over loans to the Dhoot family-promoted VideoconBSE group of companies. The lender’s stock price has dropped 6% in the past 10 days or so.

“The board has full confidence and reposes full faith in the bank’s MD & CEO Chanda Kochhar,” it said in a release. “On looking at all the above facts, the board has come to the conclusion that there is no question of any quid pro quo/nepotism/…

What questions should you ask the interviewer?

Most interviewers will give you a chance to ask them questions. The quality of your questions will be a factor, whether subconsciously or consciously, in their decisions.
Some questions may come to you during the interview, but you can - and should - prepare questions in advance. Doing research on the company or team may help you with preparing questions.
Questions can be divided into three different categories:
Genuine Questions: These are the questions you actually want to know. Here are a few ideas of questions that are valuable to many candidates:

1. “How much of your day do you spend coding?”
2. “How many meetings do you have every week?”
3. “What is the ratio of testers to developers to product managers? What is the interaction like? How does project planning happen on the team?”

Insightful Questions: These questions are designed to demonstrate your deep knowledge of programming or technologies.
1. “I noticed that you use technology X. How do you handle problem Y?”
2. “Why did the produ…

How to Prepare for Technical Interview ?

That said, there are better and worse ways to prepare. Many candidates just read through problems and solutions. Don’t do that! Memorizing or trying to learn specific questions won’t help you! Rather, do this:
1. Try to solve the problem on your own. I mean, really try to solve it. Many questions are designed to be tough - that’s ok! When you’re solving a problem, make sure to think about the space and time efficiency. Ask yourself if you could improve the time efficiency by reducing the space efficiency, or vice versa.
2. Write the code for the algorithm on paper. You’ve been coding all your life on a computer, and you’ve gotten used to the many nice things about it. But, in your interview, you won’t have the luxury of syntax highlighting, code completion, or compiling. Mimic this situation by coding on paper.
3. Type your paper code as-is into a computer. You’ll probably have made a bunch of mistakes. Start a list of all the mistakes you made, so that you can keep these in mind in the…

Pakistan PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi 'frisked' at US airport

NEW DELHI: Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was abased down to any regular person at the John F. Kennedy airport in New York, as viral videos on Youtube show Abbasi being frisked during the security procedure.

Ditching official customs as a visiting dignitary, that too as a Prime Minister of a nuclear-armed nation, Abbasi, who reportedly was on a private visit to meet his ailing sister in the US, can be seen in the video adjusting his t-shirt after getting out of security checks with his jacket and a trolley bag.

Abbasi, however, has a history of making private trips to foreign nations, as according to Geo News, the PM was previously spotted travelling alone at a train station during his visit to Britain.

This comes at a time when Pakistan-USA relations have been strained lately, especially since US President Donald Trump tweeted, “The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies…

North Korean Leader Meets With China's President During 'Unofficial Visit' To Beijing

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un made a surprise trip to China this week, meeting Chinese President Xi Jinping ahead of planned summits with South Korean and U.S. leaders, Chinese and North Korean state media confirmed Wednesday.

The journey, which is believed to be Kim's first foreign trip since he came to power in 2011, adds a new piece to a complex diplomatic puzzle over the future of North Korea's nuclear program.

The announcement ends a mystery that started on Monday, when a mysterious train chugged into central Beijing, spurring reports of a high-profile visitor from North Korea.

The North's official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) confirmed that the visitor was indeed Kim, along with his wife, Ri Sol Ju, arriving for an "unofficial" visit at the invitation of the Chinese president, Xi Jinping. The confirmation came sometime after the North Korean group is believed to have departed China.

Kim traveled with all his top aides, KCNA said, including Choe Ryong Ha…

Why Is There An Armored Train In Beijing? Is It Kim Jong Un's?

The Chinese capital is gripped by mystery that includes an armored train, amateur detectives and flurry of Internet searches for "fatty the third."
On Monday afternoon, an unusual train chugged into Beijing Station under tight security. Passengers disembarked and boarded limos. After nightfall, a motorcade drove to a state guesthouse where foreign dignitaries often stay. But after more than 24 hours of speculation about a possible visit by a senior North Korean leader, perhaps even Kim Jong Un, it is not yet clear who was actually on the train, or why. Was it Kim? His sister? Somebody else?
The White House can't confirm. The South Koreans are quiet. And a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry said at a daily press briefing on Tuesday that she has "no information" about the green and yellow train or the very, very long motorcade. Chinese netizens looking for answers hit a wall: On Tuesday, three of the top 10 blocked terms on Weibo, a microblogging site, …

Sushma Swaraj to visit Japan for strategic dialogue

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will embark on a three-day official visit to Japan from Wednesday.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in an official release said, “At the invitation of the Foreign Minister of Japan H.E. Taro Kono, External Affairs Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj will pay an official visit to Japan from 28-30 March, 2018.”

During the visit, Swaraj will co-chair the 9th India-Japan Strategic Dialogue with Kono on March 29.

“The two sides will review all aspects of bilateral relations and exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest,” the release added.

In 2014, India and Japan concluded a Special Strategic and Global Partnership during the landmark visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Japan.

“Bilateral relations have been strengthened in diverse sectors in recent years. The visit of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to India in September 2017 has given fresh impetus to the ties,” the MEA said.

Congress likely to win Karnataka elections

The Karnataka elections, to be held on May 12 with counting on May 15, will serve as the stepping stone for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The outcome will especially galvanise the BJP and the Congress and could have a significant impact on assembly polls due in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram later this year. What happens in Karnataka will also set the ball rolling for future alliances and strategies.

The Congress is playing on sub-nationalist card. Portraying the BJP as a party that seeks to impose Hindi and North Indian ethos, Mr Siddaramaiah has aggressively promoted Kannadiga and even unveiled a state flag.

Minister Siddaramaiah succeeds in his scintillating plan to turn Yeddyurappa’s Hindu upper-caste of Lingayats into a separate religion with a ‘minority’ tag. Yeddyurappa will become one of BJP’s ‘minority’ showpieces like an MJ Akbar or a Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi!

But it would be a mistake to see the election as only one between personalities. Like any major India…

Railways plan cheaper Shatabdi rides on some secs

Fares in premium Shatabdi trains on sections with low passenger occupancy could be slashed soon as the railways looks to ensure optimum utilisation of resources, a senior government official has said. The national transporter has identified 25 such Shatabdi trains in which this scheme could be implemented, the official said. “Indian Railway is actively working on a proposal in this regard,” the official said.

The move to lower fares is encouraged by the success of a pilot project launched on two routes last year. In one section, where the pilot scheme was implemented, the earnings went up by 17 per cent and passenger bookings by 63 per cent, the official said. The development comes at a time when the national transporter is facing flak over the flexifare scheme and the general contention that it has led to a spike in fares in Shatabdi, Rajdhani and Duronto trains. The Railways runs around 45 Shatabdi trains and these are among the fastest in the country. The Railways had last year la…

Labourers allege they were denied Rs 350 promised to them for attending Kejriwal's Hisar rally

Chandigarh, March 26: It is a well-known fact that political parties attract a crowd at their rallies by enticing people (mostly poor) with money, gifts, food and drinks. Almost all the big parties spend lakhs of rupees to bring together a crowd of several thousands of people in any political rally. On Sunday, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was caught on the wrong foot after a group of labourers on camera alleged that the party promised to pay each one of them Rs 350 and food to attend Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's rally in Hisar, Haryana. The labourers said that they felt cheated after the AAP did not give them anything even after they took party in the Delhi CM's public meeting.

A Twitter user tweeted -

Each laborer promised: Rs. 350 Number of laborers: 100000 Money saved by not paying: Rs. 3.5 core

Kejriwal and AAP has been trolled on twitter for the news.
